Yearbooks are here! Don't miss your chance to purchase one of the remaining yearbooks. 

The yearbooks are here and were delivered to the

students who pre-ordered books on Friday.

If you would like to purchase one of our remaining books for your child, please send in a check for $40.00 (made out to Haw Creek PTA). Please include your child's name and homeroom on your envelope. We will deliver the book directly to your child's classroom.

We only have 100 books left and they will go fast! Purchase your child's book before we run out.

Fifth Grade End-of-the-Year Celebration

The Fifth Grade End-of-Year Celebration is right around the corner on Thursday, May 24! We are still in need of a few parent volunteers to help “man” the fun activities planned for that afternoon. We are looking for people who are interested in serving on the Haw Creek PTA Board as a Chair or Co-Chair of one of our wonderful committees.

There are so many wonderful ways to get involved at Haw Creek and being a Chairperson is one of them! Interested? Email hawcreekpta@yahoo.com.

Huskies Helping Our Community

Thank you very much for your support of the community drives

to help gather needed items for the Forsyth County Social Workers to distribute to families in need. For the month of May we are collecting lightly used or new backpacks that you won't be using next year. 

Also, we are collecting any school supplies that were not opened or used that you get back. We will be filling backpacks that will be distributed to families that register their child to FCS schools during the summer that may not be able to purchase a backpacks and school supplies. There is a collection bin outside of the office to place your items in. If you have any questions please contact Ali Margelli.

Outdoor Classroom is ready for teachers and students!

The Haw Creek PTA led a tour of the Outdoor Classroom on Wednesday, May 2nd. Thank you to all of our volunteers that have come out to help build Phase One of the Outdoor Classroom for Haw Creek.  Special thanks to Chris Torchia, for volunteering to be the project manager!  Thank you to Lowes for the Toolbox for Education Grant that made this wonderful Outdoor Classroom a reality!

Lost your school directory or just want another to have at your house? We have a box of extra directories from this school year that we are happy to give to anyone who like one. Please email hawcreekpta@yahoo.com to request one. Be sure to tell us your child's name and teacher and we'll send it home with your child. (While supplies last.)
